I wasn't expecting much from this wine (come on, it's Barefoot), but I was surprised! You could taste the oak and it had a large tannin component. It wasn't quite as bold as some other Cab's, but you could taste blackberry and even some... mocha?!? By George. This wasn't terrible. And even though Cab's are usually made for pairing with food, this one stood alone.
